Yesterday the Grade Two students were lucky to have Pranu's mom come in to give an amazing presentation about Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights. You can see some photos and read about it on Ms. Meyer's blog.
Will [Gr.5] and Nicole's [Gr.3] mom has been coming in to help Ms. Howard in the library every week since last year, and has done so much work to make the library the incredible place it is.
RIS staff and students are so very appreciative of parent volunteers, whether as a special one-time event or on a regular on-going basis. If any other parents would like to come in for an hour or two, please contact Mr. Emin, who will be able to coordinate your visit.
